A story of Domestic Violence in the name of Honor Killing

There has been a lot of stories in the world about domestic violence, it is new to no one that most of people are facing this social disastrous. But this is a story of a newly married couple in Pakistan, where the lady faced domestic violence by their parents.

A lady married a man in Pakistan and was settled in Dubai, it was a love marriage, after some days the lady gets a call from their home that her father is ill and wants to see her. She came back home after some days because her family had told her that her father was in his last stages and it’s his wish to see her daughter live.

She was actually trapped by their parents, who were against their love marriage. As she came back, she called his husband and told him that her father was quite fine and there was nothing wrong with him and now she was now afraid of her family. She was not feeling secure and inquires her husband to get him back to Dubai. After that she was not allowed to call her husband, she couldn’t tell him anything else.

After some days her husband was told that her wife is dead due to food poisoning, she suspected that her family has killed her wife.

Her inquired police to help her out to find out if actually her wife was actually died due to food poisoning or her family has killed her wife.

Forensic samples were taken and it was soon found that it was a murder case of domestic violence. Family after that agreed that they killed their daughter because they were not willing for her marriage with her husband.
