Overview for Neverwinter Storm King’s Thunder: Cold Run

Neverwinter Storm King’s Thunder, this exciting module introduces a new campaign that has heroes adventuring in three new wilderness zones: Bryn Shander, Lonelywood and Cold Run. Among the three zones, Cold Run is a harsh strip of coastline at the Northern end of Icewind Dale where the frost giants made their initial landfall in their quest to obtain the Ring of Winter.

3 Challenges in Neverwinter’s Storm King’s Thunder: Cold Run

In the icy shores of Cold Run, there are a lot of different places you can adventure, from the large giant ships of Storvald’s Breach to the ancient, muted ruins of Gulbrand’s Gorge.

1. Storvald’s Breach
As the frost giant Jarl Storvald has directed the captains of massive longships to the shores of Cold Run, disembarked from their vessels and made their way inland, the first challenge you will face is the Storvald’s Breach.

2. Ancient Lands
In the harsh wilderness, it is said that an ancient civilization of giants once spanned the lands of Cold Run. At this moment, the frost giants’ force has enslaved Many-Arrows orcs to dig for something of great importance. You need to keep your eyes open for a mysterious sorcerer who has made his home in Cold Run.

3. Roald’s Bluff
Ewan Roald is a rugged wilderness ranger who is employed by Wulfgar to search for the Ring of Winter. Now, Roald has secured a hideout in Cold Run and his scouts are keeping watch on the frost giant’s movements around the area.
