For 106 years the Morgan Motor Company has been coach building sports cars in the beautiful spa town of Malvern. Established in 1909 by H.F.S. Morgan with the design of the Morgan three-wheeler, a four-wheeled model began production in 1936. The family atmosphere at their is extend to the customers. Prospective owners are encouraged to visit them as Morgan builds their machine and the customers can choose from their wide paint and leather-trim ranges, along with the optional extras that will stamp their own individuality upon their Morgan; whether it be the lively ‘Classic’ range sports car, the extravagant high performance ‘Aero’ supercar or the truly unique Morgan 3 Wheeler, every last detail of a Morgan is tailored to the customer’s specification. Famous the world over for their unique blend of charisma, quality materials, craftsmanship and performance, all the Morgan cars are coach built. Every Morgan is expertly crafted using three core elements — ash, aluminium and leather. Designed to work in harmony with its construction materials, natural properties are respected to deliver a higher quality of vehicle. The cockpit of a Morgan offers a delight for the senses. Each of their cars requires at least four hides of the finest leather to trim — a task which takes craftsmen over 30 hours to complete.
The 2015 Morgan Aero 8 made its global debut at the 85th International Geneva Motor show, 15 years since the launch of the original Aero Eight. The Aero platform has continued to evolve throughout the years. The Aero 8 is a celebration of the finest craftsmanship and advanced technical performance apparent in Morgan’s flagship range. Significant visual and mechanical changes make the 5th generation of this iconic model the most refined Morgan Aero product to date. Dynamics
The aluminium chassis benefits from improved torsional stiffness, a revised front end, all new suspension, anti-roll bars and a new BMW limited slip differential. The driver benefits from a more responsive and better handling sports car. ABS (with EBD), power steering, cruise control and airbags add further passenger convenience and safety.
