SKG attends New Directionz Take Action Community event bringing awareness to Mental Health

SKG born Helecia Choyce is a female rapper from Los Angeles , California making a mark with her Humanitarian work. Taking a stance at New Directionz Mental Health Awareness Event bringing awareness to the mental health stigma affecting our communities.

SKG said "I love to bring awareness to important topics in our community, I feel the world is in a mental health crisis with everything that we as a society have to deal with including the war, politics, inflation, making a living to support our family and just trying to stay mentally healthy so we can survive in this world. I will continue to bring awareness and help as many people as I can".

Take action community event featured several mental health counselors as well as prominent community directors and leaders.

SKG got her start in the music industry as a teenager signing to the infamous, Death Row records and featuring on Tupac Shakur album "Until the end of Time".

The [New Directions] seminar provided attendees with valuable insights, resources, and support to combat the pervasive issue of opioid and drug abuse. Through engaging discussions, expert presentations, and interactive workshops, participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with addiction and learn strategies for prevention and intervention.

[SKG] has long been an advocate for social justice and community empowerment, using her music and influence to address critical issues facing society. By aligning herself with organizations like [New Directions], [SKG] continues to demonstrate her commitment to fostering meaningful change and creating a brighter future for all.
