KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Chris Stroud and Ryan Moore both overcame mistakes and bogeys on the back nine Saturday to take a share of the lead after the third round of the CIMB Classic. Chris Baker Redskins Jersey . Stroud started the day five strokes back but surged into contention after five birdies on the front nine — including four in a row — before hitting into the water on the 12th hole and carding two bogeys for a 4-under 68. Moore (69) opened up a three-shot lead on the back nine only to bogey four of five holes to give it right back. Both were on 12-under 204. "Theres trouble everywhere," Moore said. "It doesnt take that bad of a shot to get in a very bad spot out here, with the rough the way it is, the fairways as narrow as they are." The tricky conditions led to huge momentum swings throughout the day at the PGA Tour event, with plenty of balls in the water and in the rough beneath the palm trees lining the course at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. Overnight leader Keegan Bradley looked nothing like the golfer who shot 65 and 66 in the first two rounds, carding 76 to fall back to a share of sixth place. There wont be much room for mistakes on Sunday. Eight players are within four shots of the lead, with Gary Woodland (67) and Kiradech Aphibarnrat (69) a stroke back in a tie for second. Even Phil Mickelson, who this week called his swing "terrible" and said he sometimes has no idea where his drives are going, is back in contention, shooting a 68 to sit just five shots off the lead. The back nine proved the most problematic for the top players on Saturday, with its narrow fairways and multitude of water hazards and bunkers. Moore had six birdies through 10 holes, only to hit into the water on No. 12 and 16 on his rough back nine. "It was almost two different days out there," said the American, who is aiming for this third PGA Tour title. "I got really hot early making a lot of putts, making a lot of birdies and then turned into the backside and still continued some good play and then kind of hit a pretty rough stretch in the middle. I kind of made a mess of it." Bradley shanked drives to the left and right, finding himself in the water and under trees. On the greens, he left some birdie putts short and missed others by inches. He finished his disappointing round with a double bogey and three bogeys on the back nine, plus another bogey on the front. "Just didnt play very well today, just was pretty ugly," Bradley said. Still, Bradley is just three shots off the pace and thinks he can turn it around. Kiradech, too, believes he has a good shot at capturing the title, even though he also wasted opportunities to take the lead on the back nine with a double bogey and a missed 5-foot birdie putt on the 17th. The Thai golfer has a lot on the line - a win on Sunday would give him a two-year PGA Tour exemption, as well as invitations to the Masters, the PGA Championship and other top-tier tournaments. Stroud, winless on the PGA Tour in nearly 200 events, believes hes ready for a breakthrough. This is the first time hes had a share of the lead through 54 holes. "My coach and I sat down this past week and we talked hours about what I need to do to win a golf tournament," he said. "I think I need to play one or two tournaments max in a row and just practice, practice, practice at home and put a lot of reps into the golf swing and get the golf swing a lot sharper than it usually is." His goal for Sunday is simple - keep the ball on the fairways. "Thats what Im really focusing on the most - keep the ball in front of me, let everybody else make mistakes." Dexter Manley Jersey . The Brazilian goalkeeper signed a loan deal with the Major League Soccer club on Friday as he looks to get playing time ahead of this summers World Cup in his home country.JOLIET, Ill. -- Just when it appeared Kyle Busch couldnt be any stronger in a Nationwide Series race, he broke the record for most laps led on a 1.5-mile track in a Nationwide race in winning the Dollar General 300 race at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday. Starting from the pole, Busch went on to lead 195 of the events 200 laps, eclipsing the record of 194 laps led the late Dale Earnhardt set at Charlotte in 1986. "It was just a great day with a phenomenal race car," said Busch, who earned his 10th win in 20 Nationwide races this season, tied for second-most wins in a single season on NASCARs junior circuit. Busch holds the record for most Nationwide wins in a season, 13 in 2010. Busch jumped out from the opening green flag and never looked back, widening his lead to seven-plus seconds at one point. No other drivers were able to mount a serious threat as Busch excelled in every aspect of the game, earning his fifth perfect driver rating of the season. It was Buschs 61st career win in 264 career Nationwide Series starts, and his 123rd overall win across all three of NASCARs top racing series. Busch also won Fridays Camping World Truck Series race and will go for a second career weekend sweep in Sundays opener of the 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. Busch previously won races in all three series on the same weekend at Bristol (Tenn.) in August 2010. Busch will start Sundays Geico 400 from the 12th position. He was seventh-fastest in Saturdays morning practice, but dropped to 19th in the final practice later in the afternoon. "Not as good as Id like them to be," Busch said when asked about his chances for a sweep. "Its going to be a bit of a challenge. I think well be a top-10 car. . Well just have to push hard and see if we can achieve the trifecta." Joey Logano was runner-up to Busch Saturday, followed by Sam Hornish Jr., Austin Dillon and Dalee Earnhardt Jr. Vernon Davis Jersey. Brian Vickers, Matt Kenseth, Parker Kligerman, Kevin Harvick and Nelson Piquet Jr. rounded out the top 10 "I was hoping for a green-white-checker because that would have been the only way Id have been able to beat (Busch)," Logano said. The top four drivers in the Nationwide standings remained in the same position they had coming into the race. Hornish Jr. leads the standings, now 17 points ahead of Austin Dillon. Regan Smith remained in third (36 points back), followed by Elliott Sadler (44). "We gained one (point in the standings) and thats what we need to continue to be able to do," Hornish said. "Were doing a good job and at this point of the season, for perhaps the last 15 races, Ive tried not to focus on it (the championship) because its something I cant control. "I need to focus on myself and making sure we race right around the other people were trying to beat for the championship and to run smart. Its good forward progress. We just need to take a little bit bigger step the next time." Each of the remaining drivers in the top 10 all moved up one spot in the season rankings after Saturdays race: Brian Vickers is fifth (56 behind), followed by Brian Scott (72), Trevor Bayne (82), rookie Kyle Larson (110), Parker Kligerman (153) and rookie Alex Bowman (221). Larson started 39th Saturday but worked his way up as high as third. A tire that began rubbing on the 165th lap caused Larson to spin out and hit the wall 10 laps later, ending his chances of catching Busch. Larson finished 32nd. NOTES: Kenny Wallace finished 17th in his 900th career start across all three series: Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World. . Eric McClure finished 25th after missing the last four races due to acute renal failure a month ago. . Maryeve Dufault made her second career Nationwide start and first on an oval, finishing 31st.
