Accidents and disasters are extremely unlucky and the affected people need immediate help and support and sometimes the support may take some time to arrive and till people shall depend on each other for immediate relief and life saving needs. The Los Angeles Fire Department understands this need and thus has designed a training program for public to teach those immediate rescue and relief methods and skills. The training called Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is an extremely beneficial 21-hour training program to teach people basic safety and life skills.

The training session will be organized by the fire department on Saturday September 17, 2016 and will repeat daily till October 1, 2016. The training will be given to the people free of cost at the Signal Hill Police Department building located at 2745 Walnut Ave, Signal Hill, California. To attend the training the participants shall be disciplined and must reach the venue by 8:00 AM. The training involves a curriculum that covers Emergency Preparedness, Fire Suppression, Disaster Psychology and organization, CERT organization and Emergency Medical Operations. The program also trains you for a terror attack and during any such extreme emergency the training will help you to conduct one-victim terrorism medical emergency operations. Not just that the course will also train you through simulation exercises including Triage Course Review Light search and Rescue operations. So you must attend this training to help yourself and other during an emergency or life-threatening incident.
