Top 3 Reasons Why You Should Turn Supplementation In A Habit

Posted by Jeff Croucher on October 1st, 2016

It was my friend in middle school who introduced me to supplementation. His parents were health-freaks, experimental health-freaks to be specific. They would be buy supplements and fill him up with the weirdest of multivitamin combinations.

I still remember to this day how he’d joke about using his piss color to gauge a supplement’s strength. It was basically “The darker the piss, the stronger the pill.”

One thing I’d have to mention about that friend of mine, was that he was quite athletic. Really athletic. Those supplements did wonders to his body and performance.

And as such, I was convinced. Below I’m going to explain the 3 reasons why you should use them.

Your reasons to scout vitamin and supplement stores more often.

ONE, which I just mentioned, is your sports performance. I myself am a “heavy-sweater”. A single hour of sports for me, is equivalent to dehydration from diarrhea.

As a result, I find that I tend to lose out on many important nutrients. That’s in addition to the water too. This forces me to supplement, just to make up the loss. I’m not even talking about supplementing for the extra benefits too.

What about you? Do you have problems with loss of nutrition too? If you do, you’re pretty much supplementing out of necessity at this point.

If you’re shopping for supplements specifically for sports, make sure you ask the guy at the pharmacy counter for nutritional sports supplements. You can ask someone who’s into sports too, who’s had really good results with a specific supplement.

TWO, aesthetic improvement. You simply look better overall. Vitamin and mineral supplements will improve your overall skin health. This means no more stretch marks.

It also prevents hair loss. I live in a culture where most people go bald at 28. I’m not sure yet if it’s the crappy diets that are responsible for this, or if it’s the water supply…

Regardless, you are “less likely” to go bald with supplementation. That is, unless you want that Vin Diesel look.

THREE, improved health. Things ranging from gut problems, such as acidity, to problems that make you freak out, like random heart palpitations. You’ll feel better overall too, and you’ll have much higher energy levels in the process.

So where do you get those supplements?

Usually, I would recommend you look for and buy supplements online. When you do so, you have a wide variety of options to choose from, that may not be available to your local pharmacy.

Vitamin and supplement stores around yourvicinity may also have the products you need. If they are far away from you, you may try to call them by phone and speak to them about the products they have.

Before buying though, make sure the product that you’re picking contains the vitamins and minerals you need. This is specifically important if you’re doing it for the sake of aesthetics, or for the sake of good health.

And that’s all folks. Remember to read the instructions about recommended doses. Too much of anything good can be harmful!
