Both Instant and storage water geysers have equal amount of pros and cons with respect to their functions and features. Storage water heaters work on an old concept, where it takes a certain amount of time to complete the task. An instant water geyser heats up the water almost instantly, since it uses modern technology to finish the job.

A storage water heater heats up the water with the help of the coil, where the coil heats up first to heat the water, which will be available in the tank. An instant water heater heats up the water as it passes by using an infrared or a laser technology.

Advantages of an Instant water geyser or heater

Saves time

As the name says, instant water geysers save time by heating up the water instantly. An instant water geysers are suitable for people, who are in a rush all the time and staying with a small family or staying as a bachelor.

Small in size

An instant geyser is small in size, since does not have to store the flow of water. An instant water heater heats up the water, while in flow by using a laser technology filled with infrared rays. Most of the instant water geysers looks like a small radio, since the water heater capacity would be small compared to a storage water geyser.

Easy to operate

Instant water geysers are easy to operate, since the modern technology has made it handy to be operated. Plenty of options are available in todays instant water heater, which include automatic power off, restricted heating temperatures and so on..

Disadvantages of an instantaneous water geyser or heater

Flexibility

An instant water geyser would not be able to use it in different rooms like a storage water geyser or a high density cartridge heaters, since an instant water geyser would be smaller in size. Most of the mid level geysers do not give much opportunity to connect to multiple taps at the same time. People will have to collect hot water from the bathroom, where it has been installed.

Energy savings

It is pretty evident that the instant water geysers consume more electricity compared to a storage water geyser. A storage water geyser uses the old school technology of heating up the water by using an immersion heater, whereas the instant water geyser heats up with the help of infrared rays. Plenty of energy will be saved, when we compare, since the hot water would not be wasted in storage water geyser.

Reliability

The storage water geysers have been in the market for a long time now and can be repaired by any average electrician. An instant water geyser would be recommended to get it fixed by consulting the manufacturer, since the equipments or spare parts would not be available in all the places. As storage geysers uses the traditional technology to heat the water, it does not take a long time for technicians to understand the error.
