Advantages and disadvantages of machines

We all are aware that machines perform most part of the job in the present generation, manpower has been used to control it. Most of industries hire the manpower to handle the machines, which in turn does the work. The golden era of using hand made products is almost extinct, as machines do a perfect job in producing the product. There a have been a plenty of advantages and disadvantages in terms of machines in an Industrial sector.

Advantages

Cost effective

Machines work out in a cost effective way, as most of the machines are available at cheaper cost and it is a one time investment with regular services. Some of the machines like Airless / Wheel Blasting Machines consumes less amount of expenditure in terms of regular service or maintenance. These machines could be expensive, but effective in terms of output. The advantages of machines can be understood over a period of time, as the machine can be used for a long time by maintaining it properly.

Perfection

Most of the machines are built to perform tasks in a perfect way. Since machines understand the instruction in a digital way, it is easy to set up or use it to produce identical and perfect products. Machines are built by humans to perform tasks of different kinds. Human skills disappears when the machine does the actual part of the job and keeps us dependent on the machine for a long time. A simple weakness could ruin the human life. We have encountered plenty of layoff scenarios, as their skill is no more important because of machines. As most of the job is done by machines, human are becoming jobless. It is just a matter of proper instructions and a power supply is all that needs to run a machine, which produces thousands of products in a shorter span of time.

High risk of damages

A human can notice errors and will have an opportunity to rectify before it gets worse, however, machines do not have that skill of identifying the errors all by itself. The damage cannot be identified till the process completes and the loss could be unimaginable.
