Shoper 9 Interface of Tally

Shoper 9 is a flexible and integrated business solution which supports most of the retail business requirements and is capable of functioning independently. However, if your business uses some other systems to support its operations, then Shoper 9 can offer a powerful and configurable framework to interact/connect with them in a bi directional manner, i.e. it receives and transfers data to other applications. Shoper 9 lets you to interface with other applications through customisations. Such applications could be custom software and legacy systems for use by you either internally or externally.

Shoper 9 can be integrated with ERP 9 application letting exclusive transfer of information. The inbuilt mapping setup in Shoper 9 lets posting information to Tally ERP 9 to manage your accounting and statutory compliance requirements. In online mode, i.e. when Shoper 9 and Tally ERP 9 are connected on a LAN (Local Area Network), the interface lets transfer of data at the click of a button. Offline mode lets posting using an independent tool known as Shoper 9 Tally.ERP 9 Data Bridge, when both applications aren’t connected through a network. This specific interface module comprises of a bundle of features that help you create a mapping, delete mapping, change company information, change masters, manage missing vouchers and reset offline posting.

This interface can also import and export data created by PDTs, data stored in .txt or .csv files, etc. Moreover, the interface can export pre-identified set of data to .txt, HTML, XML and Spreadsheet formats for your use in other applications.

Making use of this interface, you can import and export data between various installations. You can also import data from other applications and export data back to them. By using these import/export options you can let quick data capture and ensure data accuracy as you avoid redundant data entry. Further, the activities that you can execute between Shoper 9 POS and Shoper 9 HO include import of item masters, details of price revision and client information, sales promotions/scheme definitions, other general masters, etc. You can also import item and client masters details from text files that have compatible structures. Furthermore, you can import sales promotion definitions from MS Excel sheets, if they are in suitable formats. In Shoper 9 HO, besides from the standard interface available, you can configure/customise the format for data import.

Likewise, you can export item masters, customer masters and transaction information from one store to another. This option lets you eliminate the efforts to recreate masters and transactions at the receiving store. Another export option is the in built standard interface to Tally ERP 9 and all reports generated by Shoper 9 can be exported to RTF, HTML, Excel formats etc.
