Manipal University Online Entrance Test

Manipal University Online Entrance Test is commonly abbreviated as MU OET which is a university level entrance test which is conducted by Manipal University. The entrance test is organized for allotting admissions to those candidates who are seeking admissions in various Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy and many others which are offered by Manipal University and affiliated colleges.

Courses offered-

Various under-graduate courses offered by Manipal University are B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, Pharma. D, BA, BBA, B.Com, etc

Various post-graduate courses offered by Manipal University are M.Tech, MD, MS, M.Sc Nursing, MCA, MA, etc

Important Dates-

• Registration starts from third week of October, 2016
• Last date to submit application from till march, 2017
• Slot booking can be done from first week of march to the last week of march, 2017
• Exam will be conducted in the months of April and May, 2017
• Result will be declared in the month of May, 2017
• Counseling will be done in the month of June, 2017

Application Form-

The candidates can apply for application form by offline process only. Candidates can download the application form online also. The application fee for the application form is Rs.600. The payment for the fee has to be done with the help of DD in favor of ‘Manipal University’ which is payable at Manipal. Candidates are suggested to keep the printout with them for future purpose.

Exam Pattern-

• The duration of the entrance exam will be two and half hours
• The question paper of the entrance exam will consist of the multiple choice questions only
• The entrance test will be conducted through computer based test mode

Syllabus-

The syllabus for the entrance test of B.Tech and other courses will consist of several topics such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and General English. The syllabus of the MU OET entrance test will also be based on 12 class syllabus which is followed by major 12 boards and universities.

Admit Card-

The Admit Card of the entrance exam will be issued within 24 hoursonce after the candidates have booked exam schedule. Candidates are eligible to download admit card through the official website of university. Admit card contains details like venue of the exam, course for which candidates have applied for, date of exam and timing, candidates name & roll number, etc. A copy of admit card will also be sent through email to the candidates.

Result-

Result will be issued to candidates through online process on the official website of the university. The result will be declared in the last week of May, 2017. Candidates are advised to take printouts of their results respectively

Counseling-

Counseling process will initiate from first week of June 2017. Candidates have to select counseling venue at the time of booking slot for exam. Candidates need to be present at time of counseling. Candidates will be called according to the ranks.
