They are mostly used in large ceilings of stores, offices, parkings, etc. Since Recessed lights are shielded by hard ceiling covers, hence they have longevity.
 
One of the most innovative concepts of Lightings that has emerged recently is the usage of Plaster Light fittings. As it is evident from the naming itself these lights are made up from the Plaster. Plasters have been in use since ages in making smooth walls but only recently it fired up the imagination of Light designers to adopt it for creating Plaster Lights. Plaster due to its amenable properties is used to create numerous varieties of Plaster Lights. They soften lights and give soothing effect to interiors.
