We have all done it. You hear that familiar beep from your cellphone, you have received a text message! But you are driving, you should probably wait to look at it and respond. But, it could be important. You can feel your phone calling out to you. You become impatient, you can’t wait any longer. Okay, you will just look at your phone and then if you need to respond you will pull over. Alright, there is nothing important, but you do need to make dinner plans with your friend for tonight. It won’t take that long. You will just text back quickly. You look down, type your message, and hit send. Then you look up, only to realize that traffic has slowed down to a near stop ahead and you instantly slam on your breaks.

Texting and driving are as dangerous as drunk driving as you can easily lose control of the vehicle. This particular issue has gained more attention in late 2000s. Attempting to text while driving is a huge distraction no matter the age of the driver. Taking your eyes off the road for a split-second to read a two or three-word text message could take your life. Texting takes more concentration to read the text and then reply and send it. This kind of multitasking is something that your brain can’t handle. It slows down your reaction time equivalent to consuming four alcoholic drinks for a man and 3 alcoholic drinks for a woman. And this slow reaction time can result in fatal accidents.

Although today’s generation is more dependent on such electronic devices, there must be some method to control accidents occurring due to texting while driving. Almost every nation have announced and implemented a number of laws to aware drivers about the consequences of using a phone while driving. But, still, there is a big horde of youth who just can’t wait or ignore even a single message. In such scenarios, texting while driving safety devices prove to be handy and helpful.

These devices help curb phone distracted driving by providing active alerts, alarming (like a seat belt alarm), accountability with family or friends and rewards. Being a parent, you must buy teen driving safety device online or from physical stores in order to keep your young kids safe while they hit the road. Providing them with such kind of devices will never let their ignorance or love for phone hurt them. As these devices are extremely durable and reliable, even fatal accidental conditions will never get out of hand.
