Making A Statement With Luxury Scarves And Accessories

Luxury scarves and accessories that have an artistic quality, should not be confused with the regular printed scarves. Sure, you can follow the basics of highlighting your scarf or your accessory by wearing monochromes or neutrals, but that won’t bring out the full style potential of these treasures. Designer scarves tend to have extremely beautiful patterns inspired by ideas close to their hearts or they could be representations of conceptual artworks, brought together in the form of a fashion accessory. So, if you wish to enhance the overall effect that these can create, you should experiment with several looks.

1.Wear them as headgear
You can create extremely stylish looks with just one luxury scarf by turning it into a statement headpiece. Just don’t treat it like a kerchief or a bandanna. Instead, wear it the old gypsy way or use it to accessorize your braids or wrap it like the Turkish headscarves to protect your hair from the sun. Also, you could lightly knot it around your throat and let the ends flutter loosely.

2.Wear them as stand-alone dresses!
Luxury designer scarves that come in huge sizes, can be folded and tied to become very soft and comfortable one-piece dresses and sarongs. The possibilities are just endless because you can even tie them like a wrap-around skirt or pin them up with a brooch to create the look of a custom shrug.

3.Accessorize a boring bag
Take small sling bag that has lost its charm and give it new life with your new accessories. You can set the ball rolling for your creative fashion experiments by trying a multitude of loops and knots and even making little, temporary, patterns to accentuate the now wrapped little bag. Another idea is to stick to the handles or straps and leave the rest of the bag in its original state. That would create a wonderful composition of old, new, balance and distortion.

4.Add zing to your accessories
The way you revamp your bag, can be applied to your hats, belts, shoes and even jewelry. For instance, tie your scarf to a bunch of bracelets and let it trail, wrap it around your belt or wear it like a belt, tie it around your wrist or make a gigantic choker out of it. You can accessorize a big hat with the luxury scarves or customize a pair of overused shoes. Looks like the possibility of a DIY project can keep getting bigger!
