Recently in the network, there are many people asking about the distributed power systems. The most concise definition is that it is consists of power generation equipment and energy storage device which do not directly connected with the centralized transmission system and voltage level power supply. It is a independent power source compatible with the environment, which is owned by the electricity sector, the power user or a third party to meet specific requirements of the power system and the user. Such as provides power supply for remote users or business areas and residents District, saves power transmission investment, improve the reliability of power supply and so on.

Distributed power supply is not simply using the traditional power generation technology, but produce new power production system with the advantages of low pollution emissions, flexible, convenient, high reliability and high efficient based on automatic control systems, advanced materials technology, flexible manufacturing processes and other new technologies. It can efficiently generate heat and electricity by using waste from generating electricity. The renewable energy system provides a better way for us to use electricity by utilizing on-site emissions, waste heat and excess pressure to generate electricity.

Distributed power supply is defined as a power generation project located in the vicinity of the user to generate electricity within kilovolt voltage connected to power grid and total installed capacity of a single grid are no more than six megawatts. It can use natural gas, coal bed gas and other fuel, or biogas, coke oven gas and other waste resources. It can even use wind, solar, water and other renewable resources. The natural gas or diesel are commonly used because distributed energy projects are now built in the many cities currently.
