The Central Board of Secondary Education has devised the curriculum for class 9 and class 10 with utter care. Their idea is to introduce the students with the concepts that will sharpen their minds and give direction to their thoughts. Hence, the CBSE syllabus for class 9 and CBSE syllabus for class 10 is drafted keeping in mind the age when children should start learning the subjects.

Broadly, the syllabus for each class is divided into five different subjects that may include Hindi, English, Science, Social Science and Mathematics. Science for each class 10 is further bifurcated into Biology, Physics and Chemistry. English under the CBSE syllabus for class 10 can be studied under two separate sections, one which is English Communicative and second that is English Language. Same goes with Hindi that can be studied in two sections, Hindi A and Hindi B.

Before making a schedule to prepare for your examination, the CBSE syllabus for class 10 and CBSE syllabus for class 9 should be referred as they would also indicate the marks weightage.  The examinations for the students can be taken arranged Unit Term wise. Some of the important topics of the syllabus will be covered in Unit test –I and the remaining topics in the following tests.

For both the classes, the topics are explained point wise according to their priority. The CBSE syllabus for class 10 is the complete guideline for how the students should start preparing. It will indicate the important topics that are covered in the course books. Apart from this, it also details on points where students should refer to the sample papers.

English and Hindi under the CBSE syllabus for class 9 are bifurcated in two sections, one is the language part and the other one is literature part. The comprehensive syllabus structure induces in students the awareness of different topics that will have different applications in life.

It is suggested that students should cover each topic,mentioned under CBSE syllabus for Class 9, diligently. These topics will be further elaborated under the next class, that is, CBSE syllabus for class 10.

In case, you have to take up the separate coaching classes, you can plan your schedule according the CBSE syllabus as provided online. Students can analyze (on their own) which topic excites them more or which seems to be boring for them. According to this, they can plan their preparation.
