Though initially people were a bit resistant to depart from the use of the traditional glass and metal baking pans, it is really a high time to embrace this new and simple way of baking.   3. Check the recommended temperature – Though the silicone moulds can withstand a temperature up to 360 degrees Celsius, it is always advisable to check the temperature that is recommended for your specific baking moulds before putting them inside the oven.
  4. Use hot pads – Silicone moulds become very hot in the oven and it’s not safe to remove them from the oven with bare hands. Use a hot pad instead.
  5. Grease larger pans – Greasing and dusting is normally not required in silicone moulds but doing this gives amazing results particularly in larger pans as the cakes baked in them are more likely to crack.

  7. Make use of oven tray – As the silicone moulds are very flexible, taking them out of an oven is a challenging task. Always use an oven tray for keeping them in the oven as taking them out becomes easier with its help.
  8. Avoid using sharp objects – Do not use sharp objects like knives on your moulds as they can damage your pans and can spoil all the fun.
  9. Use them for serving as well – While hosting a party at your home, you can use these moulds for serving small snacks in them, thanks to their cute shapes and bright colors.
  10. Use soapy water to cleanse – To cleanse them efficiently, you should soak them in warm soapy water immediately after use and later wipe them gently to remove some residual grease.
