Free SoCal Museum Day

Posted by Blake Aylott on January 24th, 2017

The last Sunday of January 2017 is a special day for everyone in SoCal. On January 29th over thirty museums will be free to enter.

These museums —presenting art, cultural heritage, natural history, and science—will open their doors and invite visitors to attend their museums free of charge. How great is that?

This special occasion is called the Museums Free-For-All, brought to you by SoCalMuseums.org. This event encourages people to get out and explore the participating museums, while it is free.

This offer is for general museum admission at participating museums only and does not apply to specially ticketed exhibitions. Regular parking fees apply. Consult individual museum websites for hours, directions, and other visitor information.

Many people are using the Metro to get around, but the Taxi App, RideYellow, has announced that with the promo code "MUSEUM", users can get off of their first ride in the app. RideYellow is the revolutionary taxi app that provides the best taxi Long Beach service in SoCal.
