  • Set the hand break or block the wheels of the vehicle and put the transmission in neutral. Check the end of shift cable under the vehicle. The easiest way to identify it is by looking for the remains of broken bushing.

  • After finding the end, remove the remains of bushing with the help of a screwdriver.

  • Find the notched end of the bushing and install the given cup over it.

  • Push the bushing into the shift cable end from center to outside of the vehicle. Check that the bushing’s tip of the cup is pointing towards the driver’s side.
