Fire accidents have become one of those problems which are occurring frequently in day to day life mainly because of a short circuit. Therefore there is increasing necessity to make all the buildings fireproof or at least improve them to alert people during a fire accident. Kenya is place of frequent mining and the use of Fire door In Kenya helps the people to evacuate easily and also the use of Fire alarm in Kenya helps people get notified of the current situation.

Fire doors are nothing but doors with fire resistant rating. These are used as part of the passive fire protection system. They do not prevent fire but help in controlling it. They prevent the fire and smoke from crossing the partition and restricting them to the very compartment of origin. This helps in limiting the damage to that particular single compartment itself. These doors can be made of glass, aluminium, gypsum, etc.  These doors have internals windows fixed in them during the time of testing the doors. Every fire door should pass three tests of stability, integrity, and insulation. Insulation plays a major role in the three tests.

Fire alarms are a means to detect and alert people of fire smoke carbon monoxide etc. they work through various audio and visual appliances working together. They work with the help of smoke detectors or heat detectors. The manual ones work via manual fire alarm activators such as manual call points or pull stations. These devices help in detecting the accident earlier and also help in the easy spread of the information.
