How to export chats on WhatsApp for iPhone, restore archive chats to Gmail inbox

If you ever want to save an epic group chat or the millions of silly awesome email messages you've shared with your friend, it's super easy to send an entire chat history to yourself as an email.

Export conversations on WhatsApp - You can save your chat history by sending your conversations via email. But what if you want to send that communication to your friends or colleagues? There is a way. Now you can email your WhatsApp chat to anyone or yourself to save the conversation; follow this simple method. Here you can get easy steps for how to export all conversations on whatsapp. First Launch WhatsApp from your Home screen. Tap the Chats tab on the bottom menu & Tap on the conversation you want to export. Now you have to tap on the person's name at the top of the screen. After that you just need to tap on Email Chat. Tap on Attach Media if you want all the chat images & videos sent along in the email or without Media if you just want the words. Now fill in your email text field. You may also add contacts to the CC and BCC fields then tap on Send. There is a limitation of sending only 10,000 messages at one time.

Restore archived chats to my inbox - Don't worry about missing out on chat messages! If you receive a new gmail message from the archived chat then, it will be unarchived and returned to your inbox automatically. However, if you would like to restore an archived chat by yourself, access your archived chats by tapping the "Archived" button in the top right corner of the screen in your Gmail account inbox. 

Restoring archived chats on iOS - To move archived chats back to your inbox on iOS, you can either Swipe chat that you want to restore & then tap "Move to Inbox" on the pop-up at the bottom of the screen or Tap the "More" symbol at the top right corner of chat screen, then tap "Move to Inbox".

Restoring archived chats on Android - To move archived chats back to your inbox on Android, you can either Tap and hold on the conversation you want to archive. After it, tap the pop-up that appears; or Tap the "More" symbol at the top right corner of chat screen, then tap "Move to Inbox".
