JEE Main rank tie-breaker In case of a tie, in the JEE Main rank, of two students or more, the following criteria will be involved to break the tie for admission into institutions other than the IITs: To B.E. /B Tech •Candidate with higher marks in Mathematics and Physics will be preferred.
