You should know that once there is something wrong with your eyes, your eyesight can regress really quickly. So never leave till it is too late, especially since uncorrected vision may lead to permanent blindness. 2. Not Detecting Serious Eye Conditions in TimeThere are various eye-related conditions and diseases, such as glaucoma, that can actually be treated if identified earlier on. So it is better that you sign up for eye tests on a more regular basis. If the results show that you are suffering from something, at least you can get the appropriate treatment that can improve or return your sight to normal. 3. Identifying Eye Conditions with No SymptomsA lot of people go on about their lives with an eye condition unknowingly. This is because some eye conditions do not have any obvious symptoms and may go unnoticed until an eye test is run. 4. In those formative years, the eyes are constantly developing. If glasses have already been prescribed, do note that the prescription may change in just a few months. 10. Extending Your Eyewear CollectionIt is not a bad idea to have a spare pair of glasses if you already own one.
