If you’ve recently been posted to work in Doha, Qatar, and plan to bring along your family, one of the best choices available is the American School of Doha.

Since its inception in 1988, in an old villa, the school has grown to become a spacious, bright and welcoming multi-building campus that provides a diverse American curriculum content to approximately 2000 children from Pre-K for grading 12.

For those parents keen to follow the education of their kids carefully, the American School of Doha is arguably one of the premier American International Schools in Qatar and the place to be. The school boasts a very active Parent Teacher Association. At the moment, the PTA has launched an ambitious effort to raise QR 1 million (U.7) to construction a new playground for elementary kids. The school also has a Booster Club, comprised of parents who help the athletics department by providing fun activities and also raising money, e.g. planning concerts, concessions, hot dog lunches and more.
