Located just 7 miles from Bellmore,Rolling River Day Camp is a private Summer Camp Rockville Centre that creates supervised and engaging recreational experiences for children ages 3-15.Rolling River is a comfortable place where campers can learn life skills that they will utilize forever. Socialization, resilience, perseverance and confidence cannot be taught by reading a book or studying a chart- they must be experienced first-hand. Rolling River provides the ideal setting to allow children to develop and practice these skills, all while of course, having a fun and memorable summer!

Activities at Rolling River Day Camp include:

• Aquatics –All campers swim twice daily in one of 3 heated pools.  Campers receive both morning swim instruction and afternoon free play.  The Aquatics program is overseen by Red Cross instructors and is the most important activity at camp.
• Athletics –Rolling River’s daily instructional and recreational programs allow campers to participate in every sport the camp has to offer.   This is accomplished with a carefully designed progression of skills and age-appropriate athletic lessons.  Campers participate in instructional sports clinics, free play and an interactive, full-summer Intramurals program. 
• Boating –Rolling River Day Camp is the only summer camp in Nassau County that offers a boating program  utilizing both non-motorized and motorized boats.  In addition to kayaks and peddle boats, older campers may also participate in tubing and banana boating.
• Playgrounds –Rolling River boasts three custom-designed playgrounds to allow campers to explore, climb, run and play.  These activity areas are the most innovative and nautically-themed playgrounds found at any summer camp in Nassau County.
• Creative Arts –The Creative Arts Program known as “Specialty Cove” features an array of indoor and outdoor facilities to house over a dozen arts programs.  Projects and lessons are planned for regularly scheduled periods, hobby and choice periods.
