According to the objectives provided in the Act, AIIMS institutions were allowed to conduct teaching programs in medical and paramedical courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and awards its own degrees. And for admission to these courses, AIIMS conducts various entrance examinations. Here are some of the important details of the AIIMS 2017 MBBS exam- AIIMS 2017 eligibility criteria AIIMS 2017 aspirants will have to meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria to sit for AIIMS Exam- •Applicants should have attained the age of 17 years as on the 31st December 2017. Here are the important dates of AIIMS MBBS exam 2017- •Start date of registrations- 24th January, 2017 AIIMS 2017 syllabus- The syllabus of the exam is based upon 12th standard, under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. The exam will consist of questions from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and General Knowledge/ Aptitude. AIIMS 2017 exam pattern The AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam will be conducted in an online or computer based mode. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours 30 minutes. The question paper will be containing 200 Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type questions divided into sections Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude. •Physics- 60 questions AIIMS 2017 marking scheme For each correct response, a candidate will be awarded 1 mark and for each incorrect response 1/3rd marks will be deducted.
