What is Bombay Stock Exchange?

The Bombay Stock Exchange is the oldest and the biggest stock exchange in India. Almost 75% trading goes on at this stock exchange. SENSEX is the Index for Bombay Stock Exchange. This Index is both for India and International. It shows when the stocks increase and decrease.

Another index is the S&P CNX Nifty; it includes 50 shares listed on the NSE, which represent about 62% of its free-float market funding. It was formed in 1996 and serve time series data from July 1990, onward.
