Stephen A. Smith, the perennial sportscaster from ESPN endorsed ‘SlammaJamma’calling the phenomenal faith-based basketball movie, ‘SlammaJamma’ a ‘must see’

“’SlammaJamma’ will bring you to tears,” says Smith, “lift you up, and make you laugh out loud.”


Smith endorsed the film over his radio show on ESPN that reaches a nationwide audience.

“We were elated about Smith endorsing our film,” says a spokesperson for RiverRain Productions. “Stephen has a keen eye for sports and we appreciate that he endorsed the film.”

Smith also invited one of the stars, Michael Irvin, to his broadcast to interview him about the movie.

Smith says the film is comparable to ‘Rocky’. “If you liked ‘Rocky’,” says Smith, “you will love ‘SlammaJamma’.

Smith is a commentator on ESPN First Take, where he appears with Max Kellerman and Molly Qerim. He also makes frequent appearances as an NBA analyst on SportsCenter. He also is an NBA analyst for ESPN on NBA Countdown and NBA broadcasts on ESPN. Smith formerly hosted The Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco Show on ESPN Radio New York 98.7 FM He now hosts "The Stephen A. Smith Show" on the Chris Russo sports radio station: Mad Dog Sports Radio SiriusXM Radio, channel 82, and is a featured columnist for ESPNNY.com, ESPN.com, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
SLAMMA JAMMA opened this last weekend to great audience reviews including a 91% audience approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes on over 1,000 votes submitted.

The film has been catching the hearts and minds of people and changing lives with scores of people telling how the film increased their faith. One mother brought her troubled son to a screening and he cried throughout the movie. Others have reported how the film helped them overcome depression; some even suicidal thoughts.

SLAMMA JAMMA, the new faith-based basketball movie is earning high marks as the film opened yesterday in theaters across the U.S..

SLAMMA JAMMA has one of the highest-rated pre-screenings across the country for a faith-based sports film.

SLAMMA JAMMA is now playing in theaters nationwide in 281 cities across America.
