Engineered Quartz Stone

Engineered Quartz Stone is made of 93%Quartz and 7%Resin by the vacuum pressure die casting.

Engineered Quartz Stone is non-radioactive and could be reusable. Engineered Quartz Stone is various luxury color, so close to the natural stone. And due to its advantage, such as real solid, anti-bacterial, non-absorption, excellently high hardness, scratch resistance, stain resistance, heat resistance, chemical resistance, easy to maintenance, engineered quartz stone had been widely applied for public decoration, such as hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, exhibition hall, lab and so on. Also engineered quartz stone have been popularly applied for house decoration, such as kitchen countertop, commode, kitchen wall, bathroom wall, dinning table, tea table, window sill, door pocket and so on.

Quartz

Quartz, generally it means low temperature quartz (alpha quartz), is the most widely distributed mineral in the world. Actually, generalized quartz also includes high temperature quartz (beta quartz), coesite and so on. The main component of Quartz is SiO2,it is colorless and transparent. However, it usually contain a small amount of impurities, so it always become translucent or opaque. Quartz is high hardness. Quartz is a kind of mineral resources with very stable physical and chemical properties, and the crystal is a kind of three party system. Quartz block, also known as silica, mainly raw materials for production of quartz sand (sand), and silica is also main raw material for refractory materials and ferrosilicon. It is MOHS hardness is 7 degree and no cleavage, conchoidal fracture. Its Specific gravity is 2.65, is also with piezoelectric properties.
