The Common Problem Of Quartz Stone Countertop

Crack of the quartz stone countertop:

1.common crack situation:

(1) crack of the joint of the quartz stone countertop

(2) corner cracking of the quartz stone countertop

(3) cracking of furnace hole perimeter

(4) cracking of black splash

(5) cracking of the connection between the black splash and quartz countertop

(6) cracking in the center of the quartz stone countertop；

2.reasons for the cracking of the quartz stone countertops

(1) crack of the joint of the quartz stone countertop: joint is unaligned when the worker joint two piece of the quartz stone countertop, or cut the quartz stone countertop as a mouth of a horn, which on side is bigger than the other side, or don’t spread the glue evenly and more important is don’t clip the quartz stone countertop or don’t clip tightly after spreading glue , or add excess curing agent and accelerator to the glue when do joint to make the joint is brittle and will be easy to crack by a slight impact cracking;

Quartz stone countertop is deformed
There is part deformation occurring of the quartz stone countertop, the main problem is the quartz stone slab is soft, or there is no shrink space when install the quartz stone countertop in and so on; all of these is due to the quality of the quartz stone slab and fabrication quality;

Color change of the part of quartz stone countertop

A: deep color or light colored quartz stone slab color changes as they dipped in water or colored liquid, deep color quartz stone slab will variable light or whitish, and there will be water mark on the surface of light color quartz stone slab. This is mainly caused by poor quality of filler of the quartz stone slab; another situation is quartz stone slab is exposure to sunlight for prolong time and then the quartz stone countertop will be color changing. This main reason of this is the anti UV ability is of the quartz stone slab is worse, because of pigment is instability, poor quality.
