All you needs to know about Uber Cab

Posted by John Smith on April 22nd, 2017

Do you ever feel the need to get a cab during a peak rush hour and were left wondering how and which cab hailing service to use? Most of us would answer “yes” to this. With the ever increasing numbe of cab services available, we often get confused when it comes to the right service. Most of these cab service providers operate via a mobile app and Uber is currently leading the pack. All you need is your Smartphone and you can install the Uber cab application and schedule a cab in no time.
But if you haven’t used the cab service before, there are a few things that you need to know to get started.

What is Uber?

Uber is a San Francisco based ridesharing service. The Uber app connects users to registered drivers who can drive them to any place in the city. The app first launched in the US and is now popular all over the world. Payment for this service can be made using mobile wallets or a credit or a debit card. In some cities, cash options are available. The application provides the users with an approximate estimate when it comes to the fare and this makes it quite easy for the cab user to determine if he/she can afford the fare or not.

You can schedule Uber cab in no time using either the Uber app or you can try our Kommen app downloaded onto your smart phone. All you would need is a smart phone and a GPS or a Wi-Fi so that you are picked up from the right location by the cab driver.
Kommen is an android based app that lets you schedule Uber for up to 30 days away. This app can get you out of unpleasant unforeseeable circumstances like bad network, no internet or low battery situations. All you need to do is log on to the Kommen app wih your Uber account once and subsequently, the app will call Uber rides on your behalf. The Kommen app works hand in hand with the Uber app at no extra cost to you.

How does Uber booking work with the Kommen app?

When the user downloads the application, the location of the user is shared with the cab driver. All one needs to do is to wait for the cab driver to come to the location to pick you up. This is done via GPA. Users get an option to choose the type of vehicle and also check the other options like the charges for every vehicle.
