Even though it is a conservative and mainly Buddhist country, Thailand is probably one of the most LGBT friendly places in the world. Chiang Mai is especially welcoming to LGBT visitors. This northern city has a good number of gay friendly hotels that you can book when traveling to the country. Thailand may one of the most gay friendly countries in Asia, but it is important to note that while the country is generally accepting of gay guests, not all hotels may be as accommodating to LGBTs. This is why it is important to find gay friendly hotels you can choose from so you can be sure that you will be treated with respect as you holiday in Thailand. Before booking your hotel, double check if the accommodation you have chosen is truly gay friendly.
