Fused Zirconium Dioxide

Fused zirconium dioxide is a kind of brand new high-grade refractory materials. It has high melting point, thermal stability, chemical stability and so on refractory properties, widely used in zirconia ceramics, glass kiln, refractory materials, electronics, grinding media, metallurgy, machinery, chemical, refractory manufacturing and other industries. When the temperature is in 20 ~ 1000℃, ZrO2 thermal conductivity is 1.51 ~ 2.2 W•m-1•K-1,  The production method of fused zirconium dioxide is by premium zircon (ZrSiO4 or ZrO2. SiO2) as raw material, carbon as the reducing agent, and adding a small amount of catalyst or stabilizing agent in the high-temperature electric arc furnace, decomposition and restore the zircon sand. According to the different melting point between zirconium oxide and silicon dioxide, silicon powder is separated from zircon sand and directly recycle by recycling system. Zirconium dioxide is by compressed air blowing into the bubble zirconia, then through screening, crushing and milling process, at last packing and storage. The advantage of electric smelting method is that the products with low production cost, stable product performance and lower environmental pollution.
