Nose Reshaping is a popular cosmetic procedure that is now chosen by the males as well. According to the experts, some males are unhappy with size, shape, and position of their nose and then, they choose rhinoplasty. A nose with a deformity makes you self-conscious and you feel you are inferior to others. This is not a healthy attitude and makes you mentally sick. Before the surgery

Your goals or expectations should be realistic and achievable for the surgeon. You surgeons may advise you about leaving smoking or drinking and some medication if he feels it as a necessary move.

During the surgery

The procedure is generally 2 hours long and under anesthesia is given before the surgery. During the procedure, the surgeon makes an incision inside or around the nose to reach the nasal structures for reshaping or positioning. Further procedures may vary according to your goals or expectations.

After waking up from your anesthetic you may have a splint over the bridge of your nose or you may have packs inside the nostrils or maybe you have ice packs over your eyes. In this case, you may have to inhale through your mouth until the packs are removed. In any case of feeling pain or infection, the surgeon provides you painkillers and antibiotics.

After the surgery

After the surgery, there may be some numbness, brushing or swelling but these all signs are temporary. Your surgeon suggests you that you should sleep in a semi-upright position for the first few days. Slight bleeding is possible from the nostrils. The patients are suggested to not blowing their nose for at least two weeks following the surgery. After 7-10 days, the splint will be removed and then, you may start your daily activities. Start heavy activities after you have talked to your surgeon. After the swelling is gone, clearly visible results can be seen after some months.

Not only females but males also consider Nose Reshaping as a life changing surgery. This is clear that males also want an impressive look and they don’t hesitate to apply a surgical procedure.
