Prophetic ministry is also referred to as five-fold-ministry by the people who are involved with the ministry on a regular basis. They believe that the offices of prophet and apostle are being restored as the modern day church.

The calling to the prophet is to speak for a God. A prophet teaches, guides, counsels and even rebukes if required. A prophetic minister speaks the positive words of comfort, encouragement, edification and strength in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 14:1 and 3: “Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. He who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.”

The spiritual gifts of prophecy is listed in 1 Corinthians 12:10 and Romans 12:6. It is one among the several gifts of prophecy. The meaning of prophecy is to interpret the purposes of God or to declare the divine will. It is also about telling the truth of God which is bound to influence people. ●Never ever add or subtract anything from the prophetic word. Just like the word of God, it is also the ultimate truth and no efforts should be made to alter it. Always recite prophetic words as it is.

●Maintain calm and composure in case a recipient breaks down, starts shouting or acts strangely in a prophetic ministry in East Village. The key is to never get disturbed from any outer things while delivering the prophetic words as at that point of time you are in contact with the spirit of god.
