The hair loss takes place due to certain causes and if the patients ignore the symptom, the hair loss results in the complete baldness in the future. Some of the main causes of the hair loss are improper diet, medications, severe illness, hormonal changes, genetics, physical and mental stress etc. If the patients meet the doctor soon, PRP Hair Loss Treatment can be the best choice for the patients.

Most of the time, the hair loss is men is diagnosed with androgenic alopecia. It may begin at any age or any time due to genetic and hormonal effects. Actually, hair loss or baldness is a steady process that progress following a certain pattern. The most common pattern starts with a receding hairline on the temples and thinning at the crown of the head. Thinning of hair is observed at the other areas as well.

As mentioned above, PRP treatment is an effective treatment for hair loss. However, for a proper treatment, it is necessary to understand the pattern of the progression. To understand and diagnose the pattern of the hair loss, the experts generally use Norwood-Hamilton scale that is helpful in measuring the extent of hair loss in the patients.

A brief description of all the seventh stages of hair loss is given below:

Stage 1:

At this stage, no hair loss is observed at any area of the head and hairline seems totally perfect and naturally located on the upper brow crease.

Stage 2:

At this stage, the hairline is observed slightly above the brow crease. Hair loss is observed at the frontal hairline only.

Stage 3:

At this stage, a clear recession at the temples is observed. The temples are sparsely covered with hair or are totally bald. Hair thinning is more observable at the crown of the head.

Stage 4:

At this stage, the recession at the front of the head is increased. Hair loss at the crown area is more evident making a thin area of moderately dense hair to separate the hair loss at the front of the scalp and the hair loss at the crown of the head.

Stage 5:

This stage is the start of severe hair loss. Hair loss at the temples and the crown is more distinct. The separation between the hairline and the crown is now narrower.

Stage 6:

At this stage, the bridge between the hairline area and the crown areas is now not observed. An ‘m’ shape made by remaining hairs is observed on the head. Hair loss at the sides of the head is also at the severe stage.

Stage 7:

This is the most advanced and severe stage of hair loss. Only a thin layer remains on the sides and the back of the head.

After diagnosing the stage of the hair loss, the experts use different non-surgical or surgical procedures such as PRP Hair Loss Treatment, hair transplant surgery etc.
