What Is Printer Fuser Assembly For?

Posted by Antonio Ho on May 24th, 2017

Fuser assembly is sometimes called  fuser unit or fuser kit which a critical part in a printer, and it’s for the final process of printing. After the images or texts are transferred from the cartridge drum to the paper, the toner particles are still loose and not fixed on the paper, so fuser assembly is the component to get this done.

When the paper pass through the fuser unit, there’s a upper fuser roller installed in this unit, which generate heat up to around 200 degrees and melt the toner particles on the paper fiber and become high quality images. Just like other laser printer parts, printer fuser assembly can not be used forever, so it comes as a removable unit for replacing with use and time.
