Las Vegas Vacation Home Rentals: Better Than Renting A Hotel Room?

Las Vegas: America's Real Favorite Pastime

If you are fortunate enough to be a frequent visitor to Las Vegas, then you know that lodging can get rather expensive. Sure, it's nothing compared to the bankroll you lost at the blackjack table last night, but that's all the more reason to save a little money on your accommodations while you're there. If you don't mind not walking through a casino every time you head to breakfast in the morning, you may find that Las Vegas vacation home rentals off the strip and outside the main part of Las Vegas are better than a standard hotel.

Rent a Vegas Vacation House Together with Friends

Las Vegas homes feature some of the most unique and decorative architecture in Nevada. The colors and designs that mirror the desert exude luxury. The best part about these homes is that you can rent one with several bedrooms for the same price as a suite at one of the elaborate hotel/casinos on the strip. This is especially good if you are traveling with several people. One way to make a Vegas vacation home rental more affordable is to collaborate with friends or relatives and rent a house together. A 4500 square foot home within walking distance from the Las Vegas strip rents for approximately $600 per night. That seems extreme until you find out that it has six bedrooms and can sleep up to 15 people! That breaks down to $40 per person per night. When was the last time you were able to spend a week anywhere and pay just $280 for your hotel room?

A Private Rental Home for Just $81 per Person per Night

If your vacation budget is a little more relaxed, consider living in the true lap of luxury about ten minutes from the strip. A private rental home completely surrounded in gates and trees sits on a little over half an acre. Six bedrooms, including a master suite, four bathrooms, two laundry rooms, a full kitchen, formal dining room and an outside lounge make this Las Vegas vacation compound perfect for family functions, weddings, work retreats or just a truly luxurious getaway outside Las Vegas. The weekly rate for a home of this caliber is around $8500, or $567 per person per week. This is still an absolute steal when you consider that it is about $81 per person per night.

A Luxurious Vacation Home for Just $130 per person

Perhaps the most luxurious and elaborate vacation home rental is nestled just half a mile away from the Las Vegas Strip in a private, gated neighborhood. It sleeps up to 20 people and can accommodate nearly 200 for parties and events. The property includes two buildings, the main house with six bedrooms and the guest house which includes two.

You can also enjoy the large family room, kitchen, full bar, formal dining area, office, pool table, big screen televisions, and yes, even slot machines. Don't forget about the gas Barbeque Grill, pool and spa in the lavish back yard. The rates for this extravagant getaway begin at $2600 per night, which translates to about $130 per person. That is about the price of a moderate hotel room in the heart of the strip.

As you can see, Las Vegas vacation home rentals can be extremely expensive or incredibly economical, depending on how you spin it. $2500 per night is a ridiculous amount of money if it's you and your husband sharing a mansion-like luxury villa, but for a getaway with the whole immediate and extended family, it's not such a bad deal. Fortunately there are many rental management companies that manage these homes and many others. They can help you find the best Las Vegas vacation home rentals to suite your group size and budget restrictions.
