With growing competition, the construction industry has been evolving at a skyrocketing pace. Not only this, but they are literally adapting to the latest technologies swiftly. This in turn is helping to increase in efficiency of the projects that are lined up. The materials and methods that are being used are modern and are thus boosting the overall construction process. One such framework that has been ruling the construction industry is none other than Aluminium Formwork and a part of it is – Mivan Formwork.

In 1990 a European construction company Mivan Company Ltd, started developing and manufacturing these formwork systems. Apart from other countries like Europe and Gulf, Mivan formwork has been a huge hit in India too. In fact, the buildings that you see in Mumbai are constructed with the help of – Mivan. The reasons are abundant, but the main feature is that it is extremely economical and satisfactory too!

The best part of this technology is that it can construct many houses in a very short span – thus making it a favourite of all construction bigwigs. Moreover, to boost speedy construction, the forms can be removed early with the help of hot-air curing or even by curing compounds. Nevertheless, forms for walls and floor slabs of the large room are erected on the site itself. These forms are not only accurate and easy to handle, but also strong.

Apart from this, most importantly, Mivan formwork requires very less labour thus saving the costs. The formwork also boasts of seismic resistance, thus protecting you and your structures from earthquakes. The most prominent problem that a dweller faces is leakage, but with Mivan – you can bid adieu to this problem. Mivan has very less number of joints and that primarily helps in reducing leakages on a larger scale. With Mivan, one also gets a bigger and a higher carpet area, wherein the walls and slabs bear a very smooth finishing – thus overriding the need of manual cementing.

The maintenance of Mivan is merely negligent, and the quality of construction is extremely even. Most important aspect of this system is – cast - in - situ concrete wall and floor slabs are cast monolithically and undertaken in one continuous pour. In Mivan, column and beam construction is eliminated and the slabs and walls are cast in one operation. Also, one can carry out concreting of the walls and slabs together as well!

All in all, Mivan does outshine in the competition with traditional formwork. However, if you have any doubts, feel free to get in touch with us so that we can help you with your queries.
