E-form 2290 is an IRS authorized e-file service provider. Since it's launch. e-form 2290 has slowly grown to become one of the most reliable and secure e-file sevice providers rated no. 1 by American truckers.
E-form 2290 provides prompt and expert assistance in filing the IRS Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) or Form 2290, an excise tax levied on vehicles having taxable gross weight fall under the category of 55,000 pounds and upwards. Every year, the tax season commences by July. The IRS starts accepting the filing by July 1 of every year and the deadline is set on August 31.The filing season is very chaotic and when the tax is filed electronically, loading servers and virtual traffic jams further delay the process. Late filing of the Form 2290 results in fines and delays the process of receiving the Schedule 1 copy.
But this year, things may change with the option of pre-filing. E-form 2290 allows drivers to file their Form 2290 before July to avoid delays. The Form 2290 can be filed by the beginning of June in a few simple steps. The details are furnished just like it is done for regular filing, bu the details are stored safely and securely in the server till the IRS officially starts accepting the filing. Once it starts, the pre-filed returns will be among the first to be reviewed and will receive their Schedule 1 copy. In case of errors in the pre-filed returns, there is ample time to correct and re-submit the form. In addition you can avail services such as VIN correction, error correction, tax calculation etc offered by e-form 2290.
Pre-filing is not all that different from e-filing, but the advantage is that you can easily file before the deadline and if you are busy throughout the tax season, it won't matter becuase you have pre-filed. It is relatively hassle free and saves time. Also See: Form 2290, File Form, Pre File, Irs Authorized, Form, File, Tax
