How to cancel the direct deposit paycheck in Intuit payroll

If you want to cancel the direct deposit paycheck in Intuit Payroll, do some following simple and effective steps. then you think that it will stop the paycheck to employee's bank from posting it.

Now, lets get start to cancel Direct Deposit Paychecks Step-by-Step:

1. Choose Employees on the QuickBooks menu bar,

2. Choose Edit Paychecks from the Employees Menu,

3. Change both the Show paychecks through/from dates to the date of the check on the Edit Paychecks screen.

4. Click on the Tab key of keyboard.

5. On the Edit/Void Paychecks screen, choose the paycheck to be voided,

6. Click on  Void.

7. type "yes," in the pop-up box and then click on Void.

8. Review the terms and conditions, choose the checkbox saying you agree if you agree.

9.  Repeat steps 5 to 8 for each paycheck needing to be voided.

10. after canceled, close the Edit/Void Paychecks window.

11. Choose the Employees on the menu bar.

12. Select Send Payroll Data from the Employees Menu.

13. Click on Send. You will note that there are no direct deposit checks to send.

14. Now, verify the canceled paycheck(s) by reviewing the Bank Register used to process employee payroll.
