Two Working Steps Of Fuser Unit

Posted by Antonio Ho on July 1st, 2017

Fuser unit is the component in a laser printer, copier or laser fax machine, after the image and text is transferred onto the paper, if without fuser unit, the toner particle can not melt and bond on the paper. To do this important process, you can find out there are two steps to make this done, heat and pressure.

There are two rollers set in the fuser unit, one is upper fuser roller which is to generate heat to melt the toner, another one is located downside to press and assisit fusing, so it's call lower pressure roller. When the paper with loose toner powder pass through between these two roller, there's a heat element inside the upper fuser roller release heat that transferred via fuser film sleeve to the toner, and the lower roller conduct a pressure to make the fusing much more firm.
