Uses of Lithium and Lead Acid Batteries

Every person requires a battery to operate their electronic products. After constant usage, batteries of certain products such as battery lights, laptops, bulbs, street lights, inverters, etc should be replaced. Batteries are required for domestic, commercial centers and industrial use. Most of the people today use products that are embedded with lithium batteries. These lithium batteries are environmentally friendly and are durable. People use different types of batteries for different reasons.

Industries: People commonly use lead acid batteries in industries for their machineries. These batteries can be recycled and do not easily get damaged. Such batteries need not be replaced for nearly five years.

RV: For travelling, people normally use vehicles that comprise of bright lights. Usually, High Capacity Lithium Battery is used to produce bright lights in the vehicles. So, in such vehicles Lithium PO4 batteries are used for light production. These batteries are lightweight and can be recycled several times. The batteries do not comprise of heavy metals.

Marine: The different means of sea transport are ships, boats, yatches, trolling motors etc. These commuters require batteries for operation. The lead acid batteries that are normally lightweight are used for operating such commuters. The flow of current is stable and hence the drivers or passengers do not experience any interruption. Such batteries are ROHS complaint and do not contain heavy metals.

Golf Carts: The golf carts are commonly used by golf players while playing. These lead acid batteries used for operating carts are lightweight. The user need not always refill the batteries. These batteries are durable enough and are not subjected to chemical spills.

Wind and Solar: The solar products comprise of solar panels that are embedded with batteries. Lithium Ion batteries are used for manufacturing solar and wind products. They are used for energy storage and for generating power too.

Automotive: Batteries are installed for automotive products also. For automotive products, lightweight batteries are required and hence batteries comprising of lithium iron phosphate are used. Such batteries can be recharged easily and the user need not spend any amount for maintenance.

They protect the cells in the battery for a long period. They can be replaced for products that contained lead, agm or lead batteries earlier.
