One’s well-being depends largely on the food he/she consumes. Hence it is always necessary to have only foods that meet a certain standard.

ISO 22000 Saudi Arabia is that very certification which standardizes the food quality and ensures safety.

Apart from the health and security of the employees this certification demands in maintaining the food quality and safety management. In the year 2005 that the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) executed it as a step towards the standardization for all the products of the food industry- their quality standard and safety in terms of consumption.

So far, ISO has already implemented this in and around 160 countries throughout the world all of which come up together for publishing the quality standards in all types of industries and also in the business sectors.

What are the stages to avail this ISO 2200 accreditation?

This certification can be easily achieved following the three important stages

Stage 1

-The first stage is to get all the factors hitched to the company assessed by a consultancy firm. Representatives are required to pay a visit to your facility and ascertain the prevailing status followed by a meeting with the top level executive of the firm who is in charge of the health and safety. Remember no penalty is charged in this stage as this is done just to identify the current scenario of the business house.  The representatives prepare their report and point out the grey areas all of which are to be assessed again prior to the issuance of this certificate

Stage 2

-The second stage of obtaining this is known as the stage of implementation. A minimum timeline of 45 days is required to bring change to the grey areas. While some big companies prefer hiring experts for rectifying those issues prevailing so as to ensure the certificate is availed easily, small and medium size companies usually prefer in-house assistance. But simply implementing the changes isn’t enough. It is essential to see that the changes don’t bring much effect on the production.

Stage 3

The final stage is that where the assessors revisit the office for the last assessment before the issuance of the certificate. They check out if all the highlighted parts were taken into consideration by the official higher authorities or not and after making a proper calibration they come into conclusion.

Fortunately some of the consultancies are there which are extremely prudent in it and they can deal the same retaining the peace of mind.
