Lewis will play for Bulldogs head coach Rodney Terry, who was an assistant coach at Texas from 2002-11.Lewis, who is from Galveston, Texas, will sit out the 2013-14 season and have two years of eligibility remaining. He said it felt good to make a decision and be able to start with a new school. Playing for Terry appears to be a good fit as Lewis said the Bulldogs' head coach knows his game well.Lewis is one of three players to transfer away from the Longhorns after last season. Texas finished the year 16-18 and lost in the first round of the CBI. The 6'3 guard averaged 11.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in his freshman season, playing almost 27 minutes per game for head coach Rick Barnes.
