This is done by keeping combustion smooth and stable and by radically dropping intake air temperatures so that greater amounts of boost, ignition timing, and/or compression ratios may be put to work. An engine that has been fitted with a big turbo also has to deal with massive heat. -not because of turbo inefficiency but because of the radical increase in air (and thus combustion energy).

With a direct port water/meth kit installed, there is no need to think twice about pushing as hard as the engine will take. Risk is radically reduced while power output surges. With the proper direct port injection setup, you will not have any trouble running a high octane file on weak pump gasoline. As a reminder, there are several designs of dual port injection available on the market today. Most work fine, but have a limited capacity to help aggressive builders, racers, and tuners. Finding a design that has been tested for success and improvement is fairly straightforward. Just look for a company that invests in innovation and focuses on technology vs. marketing. Work with a group that has been done in this field over the last decade or so, because there has been a steady evolution of systems within this period. Such firms have the greater awareness that guarantees successful implementation. Dual nozzle mounting works. Direct port, however, works a LOT better. Only buy from very serious providers that lead the industry when the dual benefits of octane boost and intake cooling must be maximized.
