Qatar Airways is leaving no stone unturned to enhance its network in the Middle East.  The first Qatar Airways non-stop flight from Doha to Sohar touched down at Sohar Airport, inaugurating the airline’s newest destination in the Middle East, and its third destination in the Sultanate of Oman.

However, now the national flag carrier of Qatar now offers 59 weekly flights to the Sultanate of Oman and the airline is set to offer new direct flights to Kyiv and Prague later this month. The award-winning airline will now operate three weekly flights between Doha and Sohar, bringing the total capacity across Oman to 59 weekly flights.

In 2000, the airline first began service to the Sultanate of Oman by launching flights to Muscat. And in the year 2013, Salalah was added as the second destination in the Sultanate of Oman to the airline’s growing network.

Qatar Airways currently operates five daily flights between Doha and Muscat and three daily return flights on the Doha-Salalah route. However, the airline’s new route to Sohar will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 132 seats in Economy Class and 12 seats in Business Class.
