Equipping the camera with the wrong lens: There is this prevalent notion amongst amateur photographers that only wide angle lens should be used to capture the landscape. Yes, that's partly true, but it doesn't mean that it's the only option. Also, changing the lenses every few minutes won’t do you any favours.
