WordPress is a platform for blogging. Other than blogging it is a web hosting provider that allows you to create social networking site and any other website. It is like other platforms which include blogger and TypePad. Prospective users with WordPress have the opportunity of having their blogs hosted free of charge. The blog that you post can be for personal use or for offering professional services for example offering professional tips of a certain line of work. WordPress also allows users that have personal servers to employ the technology that is used by WordPress blogs that they web host themselves. You can get to customize your WordPress theme so that it augurs well with your specific tastes and preferences. This can be done by editing the HTML that is in your WordPress blog. Customizing will help a great deal in ensuring that you have tailored your blog to look or meet or attract audience.

Editing the HTML codes is not hard. The first step is if you  do not have created another new post is to do so by visiting the ‘New Post’ that is placed at the bar for navigation of WordPress.    Create the text that you want to appear for your post. It is usually in the ‘visual editor’ by default. It is what appears by default every time you create a new post. After adding the content, click on the Tab ‘HTML’ this may also include images and videos that will go along with your post.

The next thing is to go ahead and edit the HTML that you want to create. It can be such elements as the tags that re for images, the spacing between the paragraphs or the size of your font. After making the changes, switch to visual and check on whether the changes have been effected.
