Ipoh is located in the middle of Perak, more than 200 kilometers away from Kuala Lumpur, and the city is divided into two parts: old city and new town. In the old city, the buildings are old, the streets are narrow, and the new towns are all modern buildings. But the most famous is the outskirts of the cave temple. Now I will introduce some scenic spots which are often visited by tourists who travel to Ipoh in Malaysia.

Ipoh World at Han Chin Pet Soo

This place is a must to go for everyone who visited Ipoh.

This museum - housed in the original Hakka clan house in town - shows you what life was like for the tin miners from the late nineteenth century onwards.

This museum informative and provided useful information about Hakka clan's migration to Malaysia as tin-miners and how they lived, prospered and suffered during their times.

The exhibits in the museum came to live with the passionate narration and well-orchestrated pictures, murals and artifacts. The restored and well-kept Han Chin Pee Soo Museum which was once the Hakka Tin Miners Club is indeed a must-stop for Ipoh visitors, students and history buffs.

Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and Zen Gardens

It is a cool, very peaceful, serene and tranquil cave temple with statues dotted with the cave. It is spacious temple.

There is a big beautiful Zen garden with a beautiful lake and a lily pond. The gorgeous garden is spacious and quiet. It is good for strolling or to do a walk around. The walk in the garden will give you so many photo opportunity as well you enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Outside ponds have turtles and gold fish (carp) which is beyond the cave and tunnel. You can see Buddhist statues in front and even throughout the garden. There are mosquitoes though, so remember to carry the mosquito repellent. This is a cave you must visit.
